    Introduction

Vulnerability and Adaptability to Climate Change Programme was implemented in Srirangapur Village, Kondurg Mandal and Kothur Village, Midjil Mandal, Mahabubnagar District, Andhra Pradesh State, between 2005 and 2007. I was the Lead Consultant for this project in Andhra Pradesh State, India. The two project villages are located in the semi-arid area. In the Project villages, majority of the people were cooking on three stone stoves which are less efficient. As part of implementation of the project the community was facilitated with Good Stoves by the author. The Good stoves were designed by him, they are low cost, efficient and having many other merits.
