I learn a lot about this book I promise to work on my communication skill also learn to giving listening ears to the other party think before I talk understand what the other person is trying to point out - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Very practical tips. One thing lagging though. Wanted to know how to talk (as a newbie) in established group of people
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I appreciate these easy steps to talking to anyone. Thanks
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I recommended to everyone especially for those introvert like me. I learnt many things in this book and recognised many mistakes that I made during my communication all these times due to my ignorance and some of them already become habit that I MUST immediately stop.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The insights shared in this book is very useful for someone like me who struggles with initiating and maintaining conversations in social settings. This book supports each tip with logical explanation why it's worth doing and how. My favorite aspect of this book is that, for a short read, it has a good amount of practical tips that are relatively easy to execute.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Short book which offers different strategies for individuals to become effective communicators .
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Very short, good points. I think it would need more in real life examples to demonstrate how the points work though.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Good book, I wish it was longer but I got what I needed. The skills that you need to acquire to be good at communicating are Listening, confidence, and be spontaneous. If you force conversation on people it won’t work just let it flow naturally.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I agree with the concept of listening to become a better conversationalist. However, the ideology of not being straightforward and honest in a conversation immediately is unnecessary. Why do we see that as a sign of poor communication?
I do not wish to surround myself with people who fear the truth.
We are going to die - so even while meeting someone for the first time, we should courageously reveal our values and morals. - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Amazing, easy to read and easy to apply! This helps me a lot, thanks!!
