About the Author:

KR Bankston is an escalating Serial Novelist, Publishing Consultant, Public Speaker, and Mentor. She hails from Tallahassee, FL and now resides in Jonesboro, GA. Having written various works of fiction including short stories for most of her adult life, Bankston entered the world of commercial publishing in 2008 with her first novel, A Deadly Encounter.

She has since gone on to write and publish to date some 30+ novels, including two anthologies and one novella. KR's BookOpera series Thin Ice was voted Serial Novel of the Year in 2012 by Future Bestselling Authors, and Urban Fiction of the year 2013 by Building Relationships Around Books. Registering to vote doesn't automatically sentence you to jury duty. If you get a jury summons, don't avoid it! We need rational voices to keep our men and women from behind bars! Convicted felons are not barred from registering! States such as Rhode Island, South Carolina and Utah automatically restore your voting rights upon completion of your sentence. Check your state laws for complete information on restoring your voting rights if you've been convicted of a felony.

ONE LAST CLICK OF THE mouse and the message appeared. ‘Your order is complete, print this page for your records.’ Axiom Reid, aka Ace, smiled as he slid the slip of paper into the shredder watching the machine work its magic and obliterate any trace of his last transaction. Glancing at the clock, Ace rose and headed for the shower. His shift at Club Xplosive started in one hour. He worked part-time, bartending.
