Trish graduated as a Registered Nurse (RN) in 1999 and immediately went to practice in a cardiac surgical intensive care unit (CSICU). She continued to be a CCU/CSICU RN until 2005 working in various hospitals along the east coast including Mass General Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess (Boston, MA), Washington Hospital Center (Washington, DC), Hartford Hospital and St. Francis Hospital (Hartford, CT), and Mercy Hospital (Springfield, MA).In 2005, Trish entered a nurse anesthesia program to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist/Anesthesiologist (CRNA). She graduated with her Masters degree in the fall of 2007. She continues to work as a CRNA in Massachusetts and Connecticut. When she's not working she enjoys running, writing and teaching. She founded Dive Anesthesia, a Continuing Education Company for CRNAs and Run Walk Southwick, a nonprofit organization that raises money for local causes.
