    Cathleen is a certified spiritual director through the Dominican Center for Religious Development. She has been a regular columnist for Faith Publications since 2000. Her column, The Parenting Journey, addresses generational issues through a spiritual lens. She earned her Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology at Michigan State University where she is currently a professor. Cathleen and her husband, Kerry, have four children: Erin, Kaiti, Ryan and Shannon.
