Foreword
Teacher is an interesting word, especially in the metaphysical world. When people speak of their teacher,
the idea of a guru comes to mind. We picture a person who knows all the information and simply bestows it upon his or her followers.
I pull away from the connotation of both teacher and guru. Both concepts require the student to give up her energy and power in order to receive the information she is seeking. I believe we all have the information we need within us. When we seek a teacher, it is our Higher Self who guides us to someone who will help us unlock from within the truth we seek.
I am touched that Alix acknowledges my part in her journey, and I say in return that the tools she learned
from me are our innate right as Spiritual beings. They aren’t something given to us from another; they are something we are reminded of by another. I was reminded of them by Lauren Skye at the Inner Connection Institute, she was reminded of them from someone else, who was reminded of them from someone else, and so on.
The important part isn’t who taught us the tools, but what we do with them once we remember we have them. When you own the tools for yourself and you embrace living your life as a Spirit with a body and all that that entails, your life is yours to create.
In sharing this information, Alix is tapping into a core life purpose. She is a teacher, a true teacher. Not a guru
teacher. Not someone who is saying, Pay homage to me and I’ll show you the way.
She is a true teacher in the sense that she is saying, Here’s what works for me, maybe it will work for you, maybe it will help you unlock the truth that you hold inside.
Teaching, in and of itself, is a gift if it’s done from this place. It’s not about being praised, or honored, but rather teaching is a passion based in a desire to bring light and to act as a bridge from the unconscious to the conscious. In sharing what we learn in a way that is true to ourselves, we fuel our own Spiritual light.
I love that Alix has taken what she has unlocked and used it to fuel her passion to write, to share, and to teach. I think she may recognize me a bit too much in her book, but having both my sun sign and my ascendant sign in Scorpio, I tend to enjoy hiding in the nooks and crannies rather than basking in the sun. I am grateful for her acknowledgment, and I understand how she feels because I have the same gratitude for Lauren Skye. I do have to say I feel a bit uneasy about being singled out in such a way. It is not modesty, it is simply that it’s not what we teach that changes a life. It is the individual who has the strength and courage to wake up from a life of unconscious living to search for the keys to her own happiness that changes her own life.
The tools Alix shares with you in this book are the exact tools that changed my life, and I understand her desire to remind you that you, too, have them, because this simple process is like being given a magic wand and an infinite well of wishes to create the life of your dreams. If using these tools resonates with you, you have no idea where this journey will take you, but you will be stepping onto a road of infinite possibility, limited only by that which limits you.
Your well indeed runs deep, and if writing is your passion, Alix will help guide you to unlock the reservoir of Spiritual ink that runs constant through your being.
Blessings,
Christine Agro

Singing with Spirit
The Daily Practice of Clearing Your Energy
and Communing with Your Higher Self
Birth Day
Each day
Is like my birthday
I awaken
Early
Release the dogs into delicious morning
Free the collective curiosity of chickens and
Pet the cat
And then I come into this space
Into the silence of my breath
Into the lightness of my spirit
Into the limitless space inside my head
The sky begins to brighten as
I wait
And the gifts begin to arrive
The Wisdom of Spirit
There is a wisdom that comes to each of us from the small, still place of being called Spirit. When we are silent, when we relinquish our hold on ego and on mind, then we are able to hear Spirit talking.
The words that flow from Spirit are deeply true, for me, in the moment of their writing and beyond. As I connect with Spirit within, I connect with what I have to say from the core of myself.
The words sing.
They chortle.
They play.
I am better than I know I am. I am Divinely inspired, and luminous.
• Writing Is Not Hard
There is a myth/story/picture in our world that says that the process of birthing words is as agonizing as the process of birthing young. Yet writing does not have to be painful.
When we are tapped into Spirit, communing with the deepest places within, writing becomes effortless and joyful. The words flow forth with ease, surprising even the writer, whose job becomes listening to, recording, and polishing the words that come.
I have learned to connect with my spirit and to write from this sacred space through the practice of meditation. I practice a grounding and clearing style of meditation taught to me by
