A hummingbird is a bird. It is a very small bird. Most of them are smaller than your hand.
These birds are called hummingbirds because of the sound they make. Their wings beat so fast that it makes a humming sound.
Many people like these birds. Let us learn more about them.
Many hummingbirds have very bright feathers on their head and neck. These feathers shine in the light.
Not all of them have bright colors. Some are just tan or gray.
