Julie Hagen
Julie Hagen completed her BA in Business Management in her hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Determined, relentless and ambition set her on a path to explore new territories throughout the country and working in media and entertainment industries as an Account Manager for Associated Press and other media outlets to high profile clients including SUBWAY, Walt Disney Studios, Universal Studios, New Line Cinema, DreamWorks to name a few. She learned the art of marketing and communication for products and services at the age of seven during the 1970s when gas prices were high, jobs were few and kids were on the block wearing the latest "hand me downs" peddling pizzas, lemonade...You name it. Julie took her childhood experiences and learned about people quickly. As a natural story teller with relentless drive, Julie now shares her stories that have common threads of childhood dreams and hopes combined with our adult dreams and hopes. Sometimes you have to listen to your inner child to be successful as an adult. Today Julie went back to that sea shore in Florida and really does sell seashells by the seashore.. After penning her memory after all these years, she went back to where it all started for inspiration, the beach with one shell at a time. As a beach Realtor in Clearwater Beach she has respectfully assimilated quickly in the real estate culture and staying true to the lessons she learned when selling her painted rocks and shells. A local resident now of Clearwater Beach, she truly takes pride in her Real Estate Career and has come full circle selling her shell/rocks. You can find her around the beach taking walks, showing property and talking to business owners. All She Ever Needed to Know About Business She Learned from Selling the same shells as she sells today! Truly a full circle life!

I also dedicate this book tao my first boyfriend who laughed at me when I took out my retainer for my first kiss. Check out these pearly whites now.
Revenge is sweet even 30 years later.
But mostly this book is dedicated to my Grandma Betty who grew up from the harsh reality of the great depression and told me everyday
Turn off the boobtube and get outside and meet new people..and when you get older they know you to get you a job.
Grandma Betty’s advice to stop putzin around the house ended up a theme for the rest of my life. Life with Grandma Betty was it’s own ROCKY BALBOA film. In fact, the movie theme music still rings through my head running down the path of independence and throwing punches in the air learning to be fearless.
