      Introduction

      The reason why I wrote this snake discover book as part of my Discover Book Series is an important one.

      Every child should know about the issues that relate to snakes because snakes are cool, calculating, beautiful, reckless animals that first have to be understood before they can be judged. Snakes are also wise and intelligent and we as humans can learn an awful lot of these mysterious creatures.

      Snakes are part of the reptile world and should never be confused with amphibians (frogs, for example, are amphibians).

      By the way, did you know that snakes have a 6th sense?

      You will find out more of these fascinating snake facts and curious snake stories in the chapter that talks about some amazing snake revelations, myths and truths & other curious stuff about snakes and in this chapter you will find out the ultimate answers about all your snake questions.

      The fact that snakes are approximately 90 million years old (other experts say that snakes are even up to 155 million years old) and were able to survive through evolution until today truly makes them reptile stars!
