About this ebook
Anastasia Volnaya – the modern Moscow poet and the prose writer. Works about belief and love, kindness and beauty of the world around are presented in this book. Poetic images are added with illustrations which help to feel attitude of the poet more deeply. Initially, poems were born in Russian, but then have been translated with delicate care into English, without having lost at the same time, the most important – the integral image or images put by the poet. The poem is similar to music – is perceived individually, sensually and with special addiction. And therefore it is capable to engender in the person a sparkle of heat, kindness and love.

Everything is dreamed up - Anastasia Volnaya
Everything is dreamed up!
Snow will merge in light illusion.
Everything is invented!
Snake from ice the girl by the name of Leta (girl-summer) has thawed
By the poison cold it is warmed.
Everything is invented!
I don't want to flare any more
Why have killed a candle,
Fire, having trampled on white wax.
Everything is invented!
Artificial probation – a luster
Having given, looking wholly,
The spring has fallen a tape
From a braid from herbs last year's.
Everything is invented!
I have left. Shouldn't love.
This pain is absent – freedoms more free.
Everything is invented!

Rock
The rock on his knees repented
Is that the rock, but not a cloud.
Stone – her fate.
Belief – her God.
The sky – her way.
Sanctity – her essence.
The sun bowed,
Only bowed to her,
On rising of day,
In the twilight of day,
Creating a nimbus,
Over top
Rebellious,
Penitential.
