Hi as a writer I know I can improve, I would like it very much if you read my books and tell me what is missing and how it will improve my work. Your opinions matter to me. Please send them to my email id [email protected],. My writing for sometime has come to standstill and your words may add some fire to it. Thank you all. I am a writer and writing has been my passion from my college days, but I have given it complete free reign over everything else, only in the last few years. As a journalist, I have worked in many newspapers and magazines and gathered over 13 years of experience. But I am still gathering experience for my writing. Every day is a learning experience and adds to my profile.

Prelude
Chapter One
Day one
Prithvi stood near the Dargah at Ajmer, an eerie feeling that he was being watched made him look up at Taragarh and felt drawn towards the beautiful window with delicate carvings of scallops and tiny chattris. He felt everything go still, as though he was standing within the hall behind the window, watching a beautiful princess sitting in front of him on the floor, in complete despair; hair open with tears falling from her kohl-lined eyes, dropping onto her open palm that held a single piece of earring made of gold.
It tore his heart out. There was nothing in that room, only dried leaves blown by the wind that covered the entire floor. It appeared to have been abandoned many centuries ago, and yet the princess waited with just a small hope in her heart. She seemed to have been waiting for all of eternity for the love of her life, whom she had lost in a devastating battle.
He was her love and he stood behind her in his regal attire, sword in one hand. She seemed unaware of his presence, she could not see him nor feel him; he had been dead for eight centuries. Yet he was here, waiting to be with her, and had been torn away by a war that he had never wanted. He had only wanted her - his love - his life. Here she was, a shadow - a mirage he could not reach out and touch.
Prithvi blinked and felt a tremor shake him to his very core. What was that he had just seen? Was it a ghost, or a forgotten memory from the past or a glimpse of the future?
He could see the beautiful filigree work in red sandstone staring down at him from the fort, as if calling out to him. Yes, it was the past that he had just seen, a small window had just opened and had let him catch a glimpse of himself many centuries ago.
Prithvi vowed he would find her again, the girl he had loved centuries ago in this age, the girl who never seemed to leave his memories in the past or the present. He closed his eyes and was surprised by the warm tears that flowed down his cheeks. They calmed him, washing away the centuries of pain.
He could sense her presence, she was close, she was here in the present - he would find her ...
Second Day
Prithvi would get time to spend in India and widen his business interests, something he had been meaning to do for a long time now.
But right now he did not have business on his mind, he was waiting for his enemies, who had come to know of his presence in Rajasthan and were waiting for him. His grandfather Akhairaj Chauhan, Alfred, sister Pratha, and brother Sumer had already planned a rich royal ceremony for the engagement and the wedding was within the week. Prithvi had not been able to warn them about the presence of his enemies, he hoped that his enemies would not target his family and his wife to be. Deep down, he knew, he was hoping for far too much. Preoccupied with a lot of things including business, his grandfather’s plan to get him married, his search for is lost love, his enemy and the killers of his parents. He had found a link after ten years all leading to one man who was responsible for him being alone, without his parents or his siblings. Now, he-Prithvi was out for revenge.
He remembered that day clearly when he had lost his parents, unable to control his tears even today after so many years, he missed them so much but it had made him strong, he had brought himself up as a soldier always ready for battle.
His father had started a small business empire in Vancouver, which he had helped grow, although very well off, he was alone. From the age of seven Prithvi had been living with his - butler and the butler's wife as his official guardians. Alfred was actually his father's butler and Prithvi found solace in this last
