The Healing Touch of God - Michael R. Jacobs
WORSHIP
On May 24, 2015 I had a personal time of introspection. God revealed to me that I was looking for a touch from the wrong sources. The Word from the Lord was: I needed a Healing Touch from Him. I immediately repented and asked for everything the Lord wanted me to have. At 3:33 in the morning of May 25, 2015, the Lord downloaded the names of the Touches I needed from Him. I saw immediately that I had to get them down so I grabbed my phone and typed them into One Note. The Lord gave me forty-five touches. They were in alphabetical order. It was amazing. I was just the typist. Each word had more and more revelation to it. There were several words that I did not know what they meant in regard to healing me. When writing the book, I learned what each one meant and how it applied to God touching me and now touching you.
The Greek word for touch is haptomai which means touching someone in a way that changes them. This is the perfect word for what God wants to do for each one of us. He wants to touch us and change us.
Each page is divided into three parts: Verse, Vision and Voice. Read the verses for the topic and claim them for yourself. Read the vision and imagine it. Put yourself in the vision. Get ready to pray. Use your voice to read aloud the prayer. God wants to touch you.
Mike has written two pages to encourage you to believe and receive the touches that God has for you. The first page lists seven actions for you to do. Get in God’s Word and God’s Plan for you. The second page describes the choices that you must make. Go over each area and make a choice. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you. There are seven ministries of the Holy Spirit. We need each one.
Use this book for your devotion time. Choose a topic that is relevant to you for that day. You could also go in alphabetical order. Look up the Scripture in your Bible and mark it. God is willing and able to touch you in this area. Make notes on how God has touched you. This will serve as a reminder of God’s faithfulness in the future.
Surrender:Admit that I cannot save myself. Repent of my sins. Luke 13:3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.
Salvation:Accept Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and be saved. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Activation: Receive the Holy Spirit and live your life for God. John 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Place a Demand on the Seed: Ask and it shall be given, seek and you will find. Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it will be given to you; see, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
Harvest:Believe and receive what God
