    ABOUT LOWELL TAUSZIK

    INTRODUCTION

PEOPLE THINK MY JOB is great. It is! I’m my own boss. I work from home. I set my own hours. I decide how long my commute will be. Everywhere I go, people are glad to see me and we have a great time. And they pay me well.

I am a full-time ventriloquist, magician, and juggler. I get to use my talents to make people happy as I enhance their special events.

Regardless of your talent, this book is for you. Whether you want to be a clown or face painter, a mime or stilt walker, a storyteller or a celebrity look-alike, a piano player or a singer—whatever entertainment you want to share with the world, the business principles are pretty much the same.

Before I started my business, I worked overseas in ministry for twelve years. When I returned to the United States, I had no marketable skills except for my entertainment talents. With a clever business name from my wife, a phone, and some persistence, I built up my business one step at a time. But no one was there to tell me how to establish this business. I had lots of questions. I did plenty of research and even made lots of mistakes. That’s why I’m writing this book: to assist you with the achievement of your dreams of becoming a professional entertainer. After reading this, I believe you’ll be able to achieve this with much less trial and error than I had. If I could establish my entertainment business without any help, chances are much better that with my experience shared in this book, you’ll be able to do the same, but quicker, better, and more efficiently.

In the first three chapters, we’ll take some time to explore your possibilities. The rest of the book will explain, step-by-step, how
