About this ebook
Dr. Craig provides a more profound understanding of the powerful role which early childhood sexual abuse/trauma plays in the emergence of homosexuality. He describes the process of dissociation and its impact on conscious retrieval of early abuse memories by the adult. He outlines the therapeutic process by which memories can be retrieved, and possible abuse discovered. Equally important is the discussion of effective treatment for these discoveries which enable the victim to gain the opportunity of choice in his sexual preferences, no longer impacted by compulsions.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I wouldn't trust anything or anyone who came out of Brigham and Young because your words will be tainted by religious fallacy and unsocietal mores. Christianity and its many subsets has done more to destroy humanity in its 2000 years of unfortunate existance than all the other religions combined. Stop breaking hearts and ruining lives. Homosexuals and the rest of their community aren't aberrations caused by child abuse but human beings who are special and worthy of God's and anyone else's love. Wake up!!!

Homosexuality: Hidden Origins
PREFACE (2014)

This one was the outgrowth of my professional work as a psychotherapist.
In 1993 I wrote this article with intent to have it published at that time. Circumstances put it on the back burner and it was not published. Now, as I review the content, and the present state of the issues involved it appears every bit as applicable as it did back at that earlier period. Evidence of this is reflected in the recent statement of the American Psychological Association on the etiology (causes) of homosexuality.
"There is no consensus among scientists about the exact reasons that an individual develops a heterosexual, bisexual, gay, or lesbian orientation. Although much research has examined the possible genetic, hormonal, developmental, social, and cultural influences on sexual orientation, no findings have emerged that
