      I spent a year putting my heart and soul into a blog and documenting what worked, and what didn't.  Wonder Forest is my baby, my pride and joy. It is the place where I can let it all out. Where I can be creative... and where I can share my thoughts with the world. My blog grew pretty quickly during only the first six months, but it was not without hard work.

      Blog Wonderful is an online eBook designed for both the beginner and novice blogger that shares my own tips, tricks, and knowledge gained as a new girl on the scene. What you will find in this eBook is a collection of my own opinions on becoming better at blogging, taking your blog to higher levels, as well as some helpful hints from my profession as a web designer. Whether you are looking to start a blog, or just want some help for your current one, I have you covered! I am not a professional, I only know what has worked for me, and I hope that what I share will work for you too.

      Getting started with your blog

      Define yourself.

      I started blogging in the summer of 2011. One of the initial struggles I had was figuring out how I wanted my blog to sound.  Did I want it to be business-oriented, did I want to share my personal life?  How did I want my readers to view me?  This is something that will probably take the most thought, because it is important to establish your voice in order to succeed in the blogging world.

      What you need to figure out is how you will be read. Do you want to write to your readers the same way you would talk to your friends? Or are you trying to stay professional if you own a business blog? Your writing style is important because it helps define your blog. If a reader feels comfortable with your writing, they will come back.  Some of my favourite blogs have a great writing style which is easy to read and makes me feel as though they're right there, in my own head, telling me their stories.

      If you have never tried your hand at writing before, you might want to take some time to develop your own style before you jump into blogging. This is totally optional, but if you have no idea where to start, the best
