He was born into a military family, and spent his childhood moving between military bases up and down the east coast, as well as living three years on the island of Okinawa, Japan. Graduating from Penn State with an English degree, he was commissioned as an officer in the Marines, where he served in Operations Desert Storm and Restore Hope. After 15 years on active duty, he left the military behind in 2006, and went to work at a Fortune 500 company. A year later, he became a yoga instructor, and went onto publish his first book in 2017. David is an avid reader, loves connecting with people, spending time outdoors, and writing. He currently lives in North Carolina.view less
