I was isolated from ever...view moreWhen I developed my mental health diagnosis, I was not able to function well. I was experiencing auditory hallucinations and delusions of persecution and of religious base. I was isolated from everyone and had no one to support me because I chased everyone away. I was homeless, incarcerated, and institutionalized many times. Since then I have been able to get myself together. I am taking medications, active in treatment, and finally achieving some independence. I wanted to publish my work to help people understand what it is like from the perspective of someone who is experiencing emotional health symptoms.view less
