He was matriculated at Krugersdorp High School in 1964 and started a career in accounting and due to the changes in the political situation transferred to a career in human resource management. In the last twelve years before retiring on pension, he held a position in the capacity of human resource manager for a chemical manufacturing company based in the suburb of Jacobs in Durban, Kwa Zulu Natal. He and his wife currently live in the coastal holiday resort town of Amanzimtoti on pension, and their only son, daughter-in-law, and two lovely granddaughters also live in the area.view less
