In a nearly 30-year career she publicly represented the USA in Delhi, Bombay, Dhaka, Taiwan, Hongkong, Brussels , Libreville, Bujumbura, Brazzaville, and Washington, DC. She oversaw eight French-speaking African public affairs posts, and led the first US Government civic education project in South Africa. Since settling back in Northern Virginia with her husband Belgian writer Claude Krijgelmans, she has taught memoir courses, while writing and speaking about her own fascinating life.view less
