This was the way the first years of ...view moreI, Adrien Martin came into this world, this life just another kid, another hungry mouth to feed when you don’t have the money to feed yourself. This was the way the first years of life for me were. When I relay this to my readers I don’t just put words on a page to be read, I want to relay much more, the visuals that go with these events, I want them to experience everything that is taking place, to be actually there. The worst years of my life were these events, and sometimes the people. I was a victim from the get go. Anyone that felt like picking a fight or just ruin somebodies day, they would go to me because I would not put up a fight, just stand there and take it.
This book recognizes these people and makes it clear this doesn’t have to be that way, you can rise up above this and come out the winner. I also want to pay tribute to the heroes, those brave men and women of the Military Armed Forces. These people protect our freedom and our way of life, this book is meant to be for them. I would also like to pay tribute to the brave men, and women of Law Enforcement. These people are out in the cities and states protecting our way of life. They are the “first responders” in almost every situation that can arise to ruin your day. They are the finest people on this earth, risking their lives to bring justice to the sometimes helpless persons of America. I feel that with the NEWS almost every night telling a story about some crazy person grabbing a gun and killing some people not just one person, but a group of people getting it wholesale, many for the price of just one. This was my life in the beginning, but I didn’t have to stay there. This book will relay not just the written story, but the total experience I had gone through.view less
