He has presented and published papers on Plotinus and Heidegger, and is the author of A Ready Reference to Philosophy East and West (University Press of America, 1987), which was selected by Choice as an Outstanding Academic Book of 1988-1989. In 1998 he received the Mortvedt Teaching Excellence and Campus Leadership Award at Bethany College.view less
