He has an MA in politics (international) and an MPhil and PhD in Central Asia economy and polity from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has completed university grant commission postdoctoral research. Dr. Senapati has fifteen years of teaching and research experience in some of the premier institutes and universities, where he has conducted more than ten international and national research projects on social exclusion and marginalized groups and comparative studies among different Asian countries. He has authored a book on Kazakhstan industries and has more than twenty-five national and international published works to his credit.
