During their thirty years as missionaries to Japan with WEC and CLC, God graciously extended the McElligott's team. As responsibilities and needs increased, so the Lord added to the team, and through them, made the McElligott's long-term service in Japan a reality. Their lives testify that in God's hand nothing needs to be wasted and everything can be used to His glory.
Patrick has a PhD in Japanese poetry, and enjoys golf and fly fishing. Patrick has been a Pastor at Wycliffe Baptist Church, Reading since 2005. He is married to Sarah, and they have three grownup daughters and three grandchildren.
