Bac...view moreZenkiea Hjerpe was born in Ohio and raised in northeast Appalachia Tennessee. From an early age she was magnetically drawn to music, theatre, art, and fantastical dimensions. Backpacking and studying abroad in Europe during college deeply inspired her imagination for worldbuilding. Currentely she lives north of Phoenix in Arizona with her husband Adam and seven adorable children. Living at the front door of running coyotes, mountain lions ,and a variety of desert snakes keeps her on her toes but also makes for a great fantasy story ! When Zenkiea's not writing she's running a busy household, homeschooling her kids, creating art, playing the violin, and singing.
