A dreamer and a realist at the same time, Liisa has enjoyed a number of different careers over the course of her lifetime. She was a dancer on a Canadian Forces variety show in Bosnia, a medical researcher, an event planner, a Canadian Football League cheerleader, a medical writer, and most recently an author and speaker.
On their honeymoon, Liisa and her husband Derek fell in love with Costa Rica. They designed their lifestyles so it could eventually become their second home.view less
