She specialises...view moreIsabel Uys is a prize winning South African author. She spent 14 years of her life as a teacher and five years as a book selector at the former Educational Library. She specialises in dictionaries, language aids and fact books. Many of her books were on best selling lists and have been reprinted and updated 13 - 15 times. Her fist book was published in 1994 and is still in print and an excellent seller. Isabel has a great love and respect for animals and believes that it is every person’s duty to take care of the planet and the animals that live on it.She lives with her husband, six cats (5 are adopted stray cats) and a wonderful Bouvier in Stellenbosch in the Western Cape. She has two grown-up sons.view less
