I am a native of Baltimore, Maryland, and my friendship with Reginald F. Lewis began, in 1956, when we were both teenagers, living in the same West Baltimore neighborhood. In the 10 years that followed, we became friends, college roommates, and football teammates at Virginia State University. While we remained friends until Mr. Lewis's death in 1993, it is this books focus on this critical 10-year period of Reginald F. Lewis's life that distinguishes it from his autobiography.
I am a graduate of Virginia State University and I presently reside in Chesterfield, Missouri with my wife, Frances. We are the parents of two children, Lin Hart, Jr. and the late Gail Hart Stanfieldview less
