He has one unit of Pastoral Clinical Experience completed in Martinez, California and was once licensed as a clinical counselor with the BC association of Clinical Counselors.
Alan's passions in ministry is evangelism and discipleship. He is also a passionate Theologian. He is interested in spiritual, relational, emotional, and physical healing. He is not just concerned with truth for truth sake. He is concerned that we experience the truth which is Jesus Christ in our daily life and gives us the tools to apply the truth to life. He does not want us to just know the facts but to know the one who holds the facts.
Holding truth in balance is also essential in Alan's perspective. These true's presented in this book are essential for us standing on the truth that is our inheritance in Jesus Christ and for knowing our true identity and walking in His grace rather than living under the law.
Knowing the truth not only set us free to be who we are in Christ but will assist us from not being deceived and wasting our time in foolishness.
Christ wants and offers us fullness and these basic true's can assist us in the fullness that Christ is to us.
These true's are about a relationship with Jesus Christ so that we might walk in Him and He is us. We as Christians have a freedom and joy that no others have and we need to know the truth that sets us and keeps us on this course. We can leave an eternal and spiritual legacy and look with confidence on the coming of Christ at the last day.
The author is a former Southern Baptist pastor who received his bachelor of arts from the University of Saskatchewan and his masters of divinity from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary. Alan is divorced and remarried and has two children, Joel and Katrina. Alan now lives in Kelowna, BC Canada with his wife, Jamie.view less
