What our readers think

Readers find this title to be a great book series filled with hope and beauty. The perspective of Joe adds a lot to the series and there is a lot of action and bravery. Some readers found the voice of Helmer to be too old and feeble, and some missed the Scottish accent from the previous book. Overall, it is an amazing book with schemes, funniness, and great archery.

A good book, but why does Helmer always sound like he’s whispering?

The only thing that struck me was that Helmer’s voice sounded too old and feeble. Same with the other senior officers… but all in all it was pretty amazing!

Love how the story interweaves with the core story, but so bad that the second one in the core story is missing from Everand/scribe

This is such an amazing book! I love the perspective of Joe it adds so much to the series! All I have to say is that Helmer sounds to quiet and weak. Also I miss the Scottish accent from the Green Ember, but that’s not to say how amazing this voice actor was!

These books are a bit sexist. I mean, why cant Doe’s (female rabbits) be fighters? Not fair!!
