About this audiobook

Would you be prepared to work for free? How would you like to bust your hump for a large corporation 60-plus hours a week without a wage or a single day off for the vague promise of some mysterious perks in the distant future?

You'd refuse point blank, wouldn't you?

But what if the job in question was playing a state-of-the-art fantasy MMORPG game? And what if this was the only thing you're really good at? Especially considering that your in-game partner is someone really special to you - and this person already lives a virtual life?

Knowing all this, would you consider the mysterious future bonus worth your while? I dare you to try it!

What our readers think

Readers find this title to have great potential and improvement in the second book. The mix of everyday life and fantasy adventures is enjoyable. Some readers found the chapters to be out of order, but overall, it is a good book. The word building could be better, but it allows readers to create their own interpretations. The action scenes are short but not bad. The narrator's voice acting and character differentiation have improved. However, there are a few issues with lack of indication of who is speaking and what is happening.

Great book. This genre can seem strange to some, but the mix of everyday life and adventures in a world of fantasy is quite enjoyable.

It is very good i cant say is amazing but was great potential and i can confirm that the junky writing get better on the second book ,not saying that the writing is bad just saying that the lack of indication of who is talking and a few very few lack of indication of what actually happening , but that on the fist chapter of the second book u can see the difference and that it got fixed and improved , and the narrator also improved a lot, adding difference on the voice of others characters ,and better actin the second book improved a lot but the this one inst bad the word building took a long time to rely settled and is still lacking but on the end u could make ur on head cannon making not a problem just something that the others books could further enhance the action scenes were not bad but the were extremely short ending with few frases and making they rely lackluster but they were not bad if the book were a bit longer and had more time creating the word it self without removing the gaming parts it would definitely make ME give a 5 stars but even without that i can definitely say is a worthwhile book while there's is a lotto be improved inst any close to a bad book , but now in my opinion the some times basically mediaeval writing making they seem in the past is a bit strang giving a IA feeling that is definitely bad it would be fine on the game making it even make sense but even in the IRL parts that writing was also present making it not feel that was wrote and just generated by a IA but still a very good book
