About this audiobook

Epic fantasy with Dragons and Elves.

Set in a world that is not our own, Legon Awakening takes you through an epic journey into a land full of wonderment, illusion, and innovation.

From the Author

Hello I'm Nicholas Taylor. I just wanted to take a moment to talk about why I wrote the Legon Series. With the Legon books I wanted to pull readers into another world with Elves, Dragons and a race that no one has seen before, the Iumenta. I want people to see the Legon world, and it's characters the way I see them. I also wanted to write a book that everyone could enjoy, from the person who has been reading fantasy their whole life, to someone who maybe is just getting into the genre. So it's with that in mind that I hope you enjoy reading Legon Awakening as much as I enjoyed writing it.

From the Reviews:

"Ripping good fantasy with a wicked bite!"

- Bestselling Author Brian Rathbone

"Taylor is a brilliant writer in his use of structure and traditional elements of story telling. The arc of the story proceeds well and the plot is articulated and clear. The characters, however, are the strong part of this book. You love some and you hate others. You laugh, you cry and their trials affect you while you are reading. "

Nicholas Taylor

Hi, I'm Nick Taylor, I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, possibly the greatest place on earth. I went to Dakota Ridge High and was in band— that's right I was a band nerd and no, I don't have any cool "one time at band camp" stories, so don't ask. I started writing in October of 2007. I was driving around with a friend and said "hey, I wonder if I can write a book." So I thought I'd try and write outline and see what happens. Well, I finished the outline and I couldn't just stop there. I needed to write chapter one and then that would be it. Do you see where this is going? Anyway, after chapter one was done, I had to finish the first book. But I wanted to get input as I went in order to write a better story. I decided to do a podcast of the first three chapters to see what people thought. After the first podcast, I decided that I wanted to continue to do it and more over, I wanted to get a larger listener base. It's all been a wonderful journey from there.

What our readers think

Readers find this title to be an enjoyable sword and sorcery book with a well-plotted story, excellent characters, and good world building. The writing is decent and the narrator does an excellent job. While there were a few things that some readers would change, overall they enjoyed the book. However, some readers found the almost-rape part to be too much for their liking.
