      Dani Pettrey has given us another wonderful romantic suspense series. Well, we at least the start of one.

      I'm glad I didn't read the blurb because that would have spoiled some elements that I enjoyed having revealed through the story.

      I listened to the audiobook. The male narrator did a nice job.

      Dani's books are Christian fiction, and I have found that she has more faith content in them than many others. I don't enjoy her including the prayers verbatim, but that's just a personal preference. Overall enjoyable book.

      4.5 stars rounded up.

      I hope there is going to be more stories with these characters. Great story, kept me intrigued.

      Exciting book filled with action and suspense from beginning to end. Definitely a book I’d recommend and the narrator is good as well. I liked the setting in New Mexico and characters and look forward to more from them. Great book!
