Kari Lemor has always been a voracious reader. One of those kids who had the book under the covers or under the desk at school. I managed half way through chapter 7 then couldn't cope with the whispering narrator. All danged words whispered. Who talks like that. Its a pity as I love this series but noooooo its impossible to listen to that whispering woman. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5

Great writing but I wish the reader didn't sound like she was whispering half the time! Normal voice would be great instead of trying to sound raspy or sneaky or sexy or whatever it is, she's going for.
