About this audiobook
Few were a member of Donald Trump’s inner orbit longer than Omarosa Manigault Newman. Their relationship spanned fifteen years—through four television shows, a presidential campaign, and a year by his side in the most chaotic, outrageous White House in history. But that relationship came to a decisive and definitive end, and Omarosa finally shares her side of the story in this “deftly executed” (The Guardian), jaw-dropping account.
A stunning tell-all and takedown from a strong, intelligent woman who took every name and number, Unhinged is a must-read for any concerned citizen.

What our readers think
Readers find this title to be a mixed bag. While some appreciate the real insight and interesting information about the Trump administration, others find the author's narcissism overpowering. The book provides a personal perspective on the White House and reveals some shocking details about Trump, but it is also criticized for being self-serving and lacking literary quality. Overall, it is an informative read for those interested in the inner workings of the Trump administration, but it may not be for everyone.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I believe what she is saying about being railroaded by the administration , I dislike her ego and how much she pats herself on the back. It’s too much.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Clearly a person in great need of attention ~
The author proves her loyalty goes as far as the most recent pay off

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Omarosa's story has the ring of truth while at the same time being very self serving. I am pleased that she has escaped Trump world, and I hope she moves on to lead a productive life. It's a story that needed to be told even though it's not a great piece of literature.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5You will not learn anything new. Omarosa was/is proud of her time with Trump. I get the feeling she would still be working for Trump if she hadn't been fired. Small glimpses into stuff you've already heard. Mostly she is on high holy ground. Mostly she is explaining why she continued to work and remain loyal to Trump. Despite her own observations of his character.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5What a piece of self-aggrandizing pap! Ironically a touch of narcissism.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Much if the information seems to check out, but she's overly dramatic. Provides a peak behind the curtain but I could do without the over the top telling.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5The most evident aspect of this book is the gall of this woman and her sense of entitlement. She is nothing more than angry and spoiled, and this book relates as much.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I was never a fan of Omarosa's and I sure as hell am not a fan of Trumps. This book felt genuine and Omarosa did a great job of describing her experiences with Trump.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5While there was definitely some useful and interesting information, I found Omarosa's apparent narcissism overpowering. She is somewhat like Trump in that she has to constantly talk about how she is smarter than everyone, more effective than everyone, how everything is about her. And she did nothing wrong - this book is an excuse for everything that the media has said about her that she didn't like. It is much more about her than the Trump White House. Lots of discussion of the Apprentice. It certainly didn't increase my opinion of her.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I couldn't go past about a third of the book. All I could keep thinking is how naive and self absorbed is she that she can't see DT for what he really is even when everything is smacking her in the face? She does have the same look at me trait that DT has so I guess birds of a feather do flock together and put up with each others shit. I was really hoping to get more insight and feel sorry for her but I got the opposite and got more pissed at her for the way she was in denial . Like another review that I read I do believe she would still be working for him if she didn't get fired.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5It doesn’t deliver much new insight into the administration, especially from a source relatively close to the President. The book is mainly autobiographical. The writing is mundane and not immersive compared to books in the same genre.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved getting real insight on the trump administration from someone who had the audio to back up her statements. Was definitely a page turner. I finished in 2 days.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Reveals the ugly, immoral, self serving Trump, but she was also very self serving. She confirms all the stories we have heard.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Good book with unexpected human insight on both Trump and the author. Helps to hear the author read it in her voice to connect with her own biography and experience beyond the White House and celebrity revelry.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Interesting book with excellent narration! It did not disappoint!
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5What an attention seeker!! Waste of time from a confirmed liar.. Didn’t make it 20 minutes.. She’s so disgusting and full of bs
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This was very interesting. Omarosa has been a puzzling political character and it was informative to see her side of the story. There is also a lot of background on the Trump White House, and for the most part, this book agrees although she does add an interesting perspective.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A very close look from the inside of the Trump administration by a person who worked with Trump from his Apprentice days to his ascension to the White House. Many juicy insider gossip if you are looking for that but the conclusion is that Trump is racist and is mentally impaired now from, among other things, drinking up to eight cans of Coke Zero everyday.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Omarosa dumps on everyone. She starts off the book by describing her firing by Gen. Kelly in the White House. If her description over her firing is remotely true, boy, did the White House botch it!! Omarosa takes aim at Ivanka, Jared Kushner, Steve Bannon, Mike Pence, Paula White (intimates she and Trump are having an affair), Don and Eric Trump etc.
She is somewhat sympathetic to Melania who Omarosa believes will divorce the Donald after he leaves the White House.
She has very few good things to say about the Donald. She rips his lack of intelligence, his health and how he treats people.
I'm guessing maybe half the book is accurate and if that is true, what a mess we have at 1600! - Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Unhinged by Omarosa Manigault Newman 2018 Gallery 3.0 /5.0 Interesting and revealing memoir of Omarosa´s history working with the Clinton White House and working for and with tRump, on the Apprentice and then the tRump White House. When tRump´s erratic, raging behavior and corrupt and controversial attitudes incited cult-like followers, she felt it was time to leave. The ¨n¨ word was the final straw for her. This was entertaining and eye-opening, a tell-all that should be read by every citizen concerned for our future democracy.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Former advisor to Trump writes about her relationship with him the decade before he became President and then for the year she served with him. Even if half of what she reports is true, it is still pathetic. I did find the book entertaining. It is a shame it is suppose to be true. SAD.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This book traces the author's long history with Donald Trump right up to when she was fired once again. She provides some wonderful stories as well as some interesting insights into life in Trump world. There are no real surprises - we know Trump is a racist and treats women poorly, including his wives. However, what was very interesting was her belief that Pence is simply marking time until he can become president, either through an election or an impeachment, and how untrustworthy he is. The author does believe that the president has declined mentally since she first met him as a contestant on his TV show The Apprentice. It was a fun read.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This book should scare anyone involved in American politics. It will infuriate Trump fans and fan the flames for anti-Trumpers. I found it fascinating from a poly-sci point of view and couldn't imagine being a bureaucrat in this regime.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5When somebody writes a book after being fired from the White House, it's hard not to take it with a grain of salt. And yet, certain things have been substantiated in other books on Trump, while a few things are new. Throughout the book, Omarosa tries to justify why she turned a blind eye to "nearly fifteen years of Trump's crazy antics" that she had witnessed, and it's up to the individual reader to assess her rationalizations: driven as she was by her wish to escape the sad world she had been born into, her intense desire to experience for herself Trump's "extraordinary success, to have a life of wealth and luxury". At what cost? that's another question for the individual reader. Even though written by a person who switched between two major political parties throughout her career, Omarosa does provide some unique glimpses into Trump's campaign and White House, from within. Quite a shocking portrait of Michael Cohen... an interesting look at Melania... And - mice in White House?!... unbelievable... All in all, a long stretch of events - starting from The Apprentice, through Clinton White House, Trump's campaign and Trump White House. If she weren't fired - would she have continued to turn the blind eye to Trump's inadequacies and lies? She claims she was already planning her exit. But with her history - who knows...
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This book has a several different ways to look at it. You can read it and believe that the author, who knew Trump for a long time, needed time to realise the more and more unacceptable behaviour and declining mental capacities of his former mentor and (perhaps) friend. Or you can read it as a book of an opportunist and calculating woman who, after she was fired, `shoots back`. I honestly don`t know which one is true, and it really doesn`t matter because you don`t have to decide to enjoy the book (and be frightened by it).
