About this audiobook

From USA Today bestselling author Pamela Crane comes an addictively readable domestic suspense novel…

Mackenzie, Robin, and Lily have been inseparable forever, sharing life’s ups and downs and growing even closer as the years have gone by. They know everything about each other. Or so they believe.

Nothing could come between these three best friends . . .

Except for a betrayal.

Nothing could turn them against each other . . .

Except for a terrible past mistake.

Nothing could tear them apart . . .

Except for murder.

Author

Pamela Crane

To know PAMELA CRANE, you first need to know her husband. He sleeps with one eye open. He checks the knife block to make sure none are missing. Why? It could be because they have four kids and a farm full of mischievous animals. Or it could be because she writes murder mysteries, and about the occasional woman who has lost her marbles (not based on her real-life psyche, she swears!). Don't worry—her husband is safe...for now. Her books range from witty whodunnits to psychological suspense and even humorous women’s fiction thrown in for good measure. She’s a USA TODAY bestselling author of over a dozen novels (who’s counting?), but her biggest accomplishment is keeping her zoo of animals alive...and her husband in check. The book was good overall but I found some of the plot points to be cringe worthy. “She played a role too,” and “I’m cheating on you because you…” I mean come on- let’s evolve. It just felt like I was back in the 50s with some of the plots and characters mindset

I enjoyed this book overall. It definitely kept me intrigued and wanting to read more. I also like how one of the characters was reading a preview Pamela Crane book. Made me chuckle a little.
For the most part, this book was good. There were a few spots that seemed a little unbelievable. There were also times where the characters drove me nuts and I just wanted to shake them. Some of the things they did, said or the way they acted aggravated me. if it hasn’t been for those few things, this book would have been 5 stars. The plot twists were good. There were some I didn’t see coming.
Also - the ending - is there going to be a second book?!?
