It has been a treat reading the submissions for the call for writing Faux Memoirs. We’ve been delighted with the ingenuity with which the writers created imaginary lives and characters, set them into specific historical and/or cultural contexts, and provided intruiging glimpses into biographical tales. There have been so many suggestions in the submissions of further stories that might unfold around the incidents and snippets of the created lives, and in particular of characters who really piqued our interest and made us want to see more of their imagined lives.
