Las Vegas is a curious place. I’ve come nearly every year since 1990, often twice a year, lured by the best conferences in the world. The scale of the facilities, both in the hotels and the huge Las Vegas Convention Center, defies belief. Could you imagine the NEC and local hotels around Birmingham managing to take in more than 100,000 visitors, week after week? Well that’s what happens here in Vegas, baby.
