    Having just read the ‘Best Websites’ article about war memorials in your March issue, I would like to recommend the West Wales War Memorial Project (ww1.wales) for people researching ancestors in Wales. I came across it by chance when I entered the name of my ancestor Benjamin Bennett and ‘Penclawdd’ into Google. The website is not just a list of names but also includes family details, military service, service number, and sometimes even a photo. The site's creator Steven John has done amazing work.
