Celebrant-led weddings can be incredibly personal and truly bespoke, allowing you to include or exclude traditions as you choose. They give you a wealth of flexibility as to where your ceremony takes place, the theme it has and the elements it contains. And remember, always make sure you have a good chat with your celebrant beforehand so they really get a feel for who you are as people and as a couple, and so that you know you’ll feel relaxed and happy around them on the day.
In this issue we meet two truly awesome yet very different celebrants. But what they both have in common is a genuine passion for personal, heart-felt celebrations of love.
It’s worth remembering that currently celebrant-led weddings are not legally binding in some countries so do look into what you need to do to make your marriage official wherever you are – your celebrant should be happy to talk with you about this and help make sure all runs smoothly!
