Afternoon Tea at The Governor’s House in Hyde Park

Twenty years ago, when Suzanne Boden bought The Governor’s House in Hyde Park, Vermont, whose history dates to 1893, she did so for what she calls “a diversion.” She explains, “My youngest son was going off to prep school. I love old houses and giving parties, so many people have asked if I had always thought innkeeping would be something I would like to do. But buying it was a spontaneous act, which happens to suit me perfectly.”
