Among the 3D artists revolutionising fashion is Cameron-James Wilson, CEO of The Diigitals, the world’s first all-digital modelling agency. “Multiple industries have gone through 3D revolutions and I think fashion is late to the game,” he tells 3D World. While the historically limited fabric simulation capabilities of software and a lack of skills have certainly slowed fashion’s embrace of 3D, Wilson is making great strides to change that.
The journey began when Wilson was eight years into his career as a fashion photographer. “I didn’t feel creatively fulfilled in photography,” Wilson admits, “I felt like I was pushing a button and spending hours on Photoshop. It wasn’t creatively fun or challenging. If I wanted to take a picture
