PAINTING THE WORLD RED

Anew CEO, a fresh global rebrand influenced by Australia, winning AdNews PR Agency of the Year – and there are still three more months left of 2019. It is safe to say, Havas Group’s public relations (PR) arm Red Havas has made its mark both locally and internationally.

Formerly known as Red Agency, a rebrand saw its Australian and Asian offices unite with Havas PR North America to become a “data and content-first” network. It also announced it would expand the Red Havas name to the UK, Japan and South America. The rebrand, which was influenced by the Australian agency’s model, integrates PR, social, brand experience and content production services at scale.

Sarah Trombetta, CEO of Red Havas Australia, says it was a “positive story” for Australia to introduce Red’s model beyond local shores, helping to position the nation as an “innovation hub”.

“It’s been really exciting for the team here in Australia to see the Red Havas model exported around the world, including the US and UK. Our talent also really value the international exposure and opportunity to work in other markets.”

Trombetta, who joined Red in February after several years working overseas including most recently as CEO
