Introducing Household Chores

Whenever we gather at a family event, my sisters and I congregate in the kitchen for some peeling, cooking, dishwashing and of course, rehash how “lucky” I was to escape household chores solely because there were four other girls ahead of me to literally pick up my slack.

It’s true. By the time they hit double-digits in age, my sisters could handle a sizzling hot iron straight off the Primus stove, whip up a four-element dinner for eight,
