MY .303 CAST BULLET RECIPE
I own two Lee-Enfields in .303 BR and over the past 10 years have discovered that both shoot cast bullets accurately. When I started out with cast bullets, first for muzzleloaders, I did a lot of reading on the subject and soon realised that cast bullets are not only for muzzleloaders – they are also perfect for the so-called nitro rifles.
As one’s knowledge grows through reading up on, and shooting cast bullets, you realise that these projectiles can be launched at velocities just short of those of jacketed bullets. I am always on the lookout for information regarding cast bullets, their performance and application and would like to add some of the knowledge I gained over the years by sharing my cast bullet recipe for my rifles.
