Thinking Small for DXpeditions
Ihave been going through my QSL card collection recently. I had fallen behind in filling in my DXCC QSL card album and thought I should catch up. What I found out was that I probably had not done this in 15 years or so.

me. With the assorted “deleted entities,” and all the new ones added, I discovered that my old album had run out of space. At first, I was a little nervous because the album I have was fairly special back when I purchased it at the Dayton Hamvention® many years ago. It holds 12 cards on each page (6 on each side) and has a black filler piece of card stock to separate the front and back QSL card. It came with 28 pages. So, some simple math tells me that it can hold up to 336 QSL cards. I have 360 QSL cards to display (340 active and 20 deleted), so I am 24 slots short, which equates to two sheets that hold 12 cards each. But, I would also like to display some extra “special” QSL cards as well. So, I needed more sheets. Each slot is designed to hold a 4- x 6-inch photograph, which is ample space for most QSL cards out there. A quick search on Amazon and I was able to locate a pack of 10 pages of “archival quality” 12- x 12-inch page protectors for 4- x 6-inch photos for a fairly reasonable price.
