T20 World Cup 2022 live updates: Scotland and Zimbabwe gear up to cross swords for the final place in the Super 12 stage of T20 World Cup 2022. The winner takes as and the loser will have to go back home. Scotland introduced themselves in this tournament with a resounding win over West Indies, who bowed out of the race for Super 12 after losing to Ireland.
Richie Berrington will thus be hoping to do one over Zimbabwe, who have plenty of experience of playing against the big boys. Craig Ervine returns for the African side, after missing the last match through a mild asthma attack.
That will certainly boost Zimbabwe's chances, who are likely to rely heavily on Sikandar Raza's all-round skills. With a place at the top of the group up for grabs and passage into the Super 12 stage, Zimbabwe and Scotland will be giving it their all.

Sikandar Raza | Player of the Match: Full credit to Scotland for making things tough, it was pretty cut-throat. It is pretty satisfying and humbling, it is an emotional moment as well. Credit to the two youngsters for staying out till the end and finishing it. I told Sean [Williams] that give me 8-10 balls to get going, but you are going to be the one to win us this game. The numbers of our supporters may be small but if you hear the noise you won’t feel that way, they carry Zimbabwean cricket home and overseas as well. Very happy for them.

Scotland have won the toss and have opted to bat. Here's what the two skippers had to say-
Craig Ervine: Feeling good now. Watching Ireland chase down earlier gives us the confidence to do it ourselves. Starting well with the ball is going to be key, and then with the bat we have to stay calm under pressure. No changes apart from me coming into the team.
Richie Berrington: We're going to have a bat first. We've seen the value of a good score out here. We'll execute the best we can and try to move forward. We've done a lot of things right in the previous two games, it is just about executing our plans. We have the same team.
