Netflix has released an exciting update for the second season of One Piece, with the streamer sharing a first-look photo.
The fantasy-adventure series follows the adventures of the Straw Hat Pirates as they go in search of the titular MacGuffin, a long-lost and fabled treasure that potentially holds great power.
Following a critically acclaimed first season in 2023, fans of the show have been eagerly anticipating its return, and Netflix has now provided an update after they released the first image from the upcoming season.

“Straw Hats, our course is set!” wrote the streamer via X/Twitter. “Season 2 production has officially wrapped, and the Grand Line is fast approaching! Destiny awaits, are you ready to answer the call?”
The image in question saw our central quintet - Sanji (Taz Skylar), Roronoa Zoro (Mackenyu), Monkey D Luffy (Iñaki Godoy), Nami (Emily Rudd) and Usopp (Jacob Gibson) - all posing in front of a monument, with several fans remarking on the first-look.
“THE SET??? THE COSTUMES???? MY FAVES!!! I’m SO READY!!” wrote one excited fan, with the official account responding: “We're about to set sail on an adventure like never before, Nakama!”
“I haven't watched the anime or read the manga (I would if I had the time), but season 1 of Netflix's One Piece really hit a chord for me,” added a second fan. “I am SO ready for what's next! The characters were all incredibly charming, and the cast chemistry was unlike anything I've seen in ages.”

As there is still no release date for the second season, fans will still have to wait for their first glimpse of new addition Joe Manganiello as Mr 0, the villainous head of criminal organisation Baroque Works.
The star, who had previously appeared in the Spider-Man and Magic Mike franchises, spoke of his excitement at joining the show, saying: “To be trusted with one of the greatest characters ever in manga and fantasy... I’ve been waiting for a character like this my entire career.”
