Cowell, Walsh 'clash over Scherzinger'

Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh are reportedly fighting over who gets to have Nicole Scherzinger during The X Factor's Judges' Houses round.

The Pussycat Dolls singer, who stood in for malaria-stricken Cheryl Cole as a judge at Boot Camp, was widely praised for her stint on the show.

However, Cowell and Walsh are now said to be competing over her judging services for the next stage of the competition.

Cowell has offered to fly Scherzinger to his yacht in the South of France by private jet if she accepts his offer, while Walsh has promised to take her anywhere in the world if she chooses to help him, reports The Sun.

A source said: "The bribes are increasingly over the top. Simon was laughing at Louis during the auditions because he was following Nicole around everywhere, but he won't be laughing if she goes with Louis."

Scherzinger is rumoured to land a coveted judging role on the American version of the reality singing contest after impressing Cowell and bosses during the current ITV series.
