WHS seniors place at FCCLA state conference

WORTHINGTON – Sail Away with FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) was the 2025 Minnesota FCCLA State Conference theme and four Worthington High School seniors rocked the boat.

Hser Hla received a Gold Medal on her project and the Minnesota Chapter Spark Award for her efforts. Jacqueline Perez Ventura, Kendra Sandoval Lopez and Wendy Martin Vincente also received a Gold Medal and advancement to Nationals.

Each participated in events during the conference, including hearing from inspirational speakers. They will continue to work on their projects for the National FCCLA Conference in Orlando, Florida in early July.
