Sorting out this messy Deezer profile.
Corinna Jane is an Australian singer, songwriter, performer and recording artist. After many years in the rock and soul fields, and notably via her work as lead vocalist and songwriter for the indie rock band, Liminal, Corinna is now finding success through the dance scene, with House, Nu Disco and Chill Out tracks coming to the attention of the public. Corinna is well known for her explosive vocal power, sensual timbre and singular vocal range. Influenced by the likes of Aretha Franklin, Renee Geyer, Janis Joplin and Minnie Riperton, she has been described as “the female Robert Plant” and her style as one of “effortless beauty”. Corinna self-released the dreamy Trip Hop Heartbeat Expansion in 2014 and was then inundated with requests from international EDM producers. The very first collaboration, The Chase EP, created with Nu-Disco wunderkind, Mark Lower, raced to #2 on the Beatport charts. Blow The Speakers is still extremely popular, with over 300,00 plays on Spotify at last count and inclusions on thousands of EDM playlists. The next collaboration, Love Getaway (Escape), hit #13 on the Australian iTunes Dance charts. Juan Rojo of Hoonoh Records joined forces with Corinna, releasing the Shining Moon in 2019, with a dance remix by Quint-S-Ence following soon after. The world is starting to realize the potential of this dynamic, soulful and powerful Australian vocalist.
